It’s that period of the year already ! With December comes the Advent of Code programming challenge, and its daily mental workout.

Advent of Code is an Advent calendar of small programming puzzles for a variety of skill sets and skill levels that can be solved in any programming language you like.

The complexity level of the programming challenges increase every day, and tend to be notoriously hard during the last few days. However, as of writing this article, it’s only day 9, and there were a few problems that didn’t require too much processing cycles, provided you spent enough mathematical effort and didn’t come up with only the brute-force solution.
